ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The Contempt Petition has been instituted to punish the Respondents for willfully disobeying the orders passed in the Writ Petition in W.P.No.11125 of 2024 dated 11.07.2024.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the order of this Court dated 11.07.2024 in

W.A.No.11125 of 2024 has been complied with and a compliance report has been filed. The relevant portion of the compliance report reads as follows, "6.

I submit that after receiving the report from the above officials with their recommendation, this 2 nd respondent has personally conducted a field inspection on 06.07.2024 along with survey and other revenue officials regarding the fulfilment of the required norms as per the G.O.No.25, Highways and Minor Ports (HN-2) Department, dated: 24.02.2022, G.O.Ms. No. 121, Highways and Minor Ports (HN-2) Department, dated: 12.09.2023 and also PESO No.C.VIII(3)125/Circular/Petroleum, Circular dated: 09.09.2024 and the location of the proposed site. Having satisfied with the location of the proposed site to set up a retail outlet, and in obedience of this Hon'ble High Court's direction issued to follow the direction as mentioned in Hon'ble High Court W.P. No. 2095/2021 dated: 15.02.2024, the 2 nd respondent issued No objection Certificate vide Ref.No. LSDA File No. CLRREV/1028/2024/J1 dated: 23.09.2024 after careful perusal of the rules and directions."
