(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM,J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

2.This petition has been filed by the petitioner/husband of the detenue Sangeetha, aged 21 years, directing the respondent to cause production of his wife/the detenue before this Court and to set her at liberty.

3.The detenue Sangeetha is produced before this Court by the respondent police. On enquiry, the detenue informs us that she does not intend to join her husband and wants to stay at hostel and she also confirms that she is not under any duress or detention.

4.Recording the statement made by the detenue to the effect that there is no illegal detention, we are of the view that this petition could be closed as nothing further remains to be considered.
