ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2009 and to provide employment for his qualification and eligibility in the second respondent's office as per the regulations laid in PP.(MP) No.30 Technical Branch dated 19.02.1990 within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

The petitioner's father's land was acquired by the respondents for the purpose of construction of Thermal Power Station in Ennore. As per the Board Proceeding, his father was given employment 2/4

by the respondents. Though he joined in the service of the respondents, he resigned the said post. Again the petitioner submitted representation for employment as per the regulations laid in P.P.(MP) No.30 Technical Branch dated 19.02.1990.

When the petitioner's father already availed employment, the petitioner is not entitled for any employment as per the Board Proceedings. As such, this writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
