O R D E R

This Criminal Revision has been filed to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.778 of 2024 in M.C.No.1 of 2024 dated 24.09.2024 on the file of District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Vikravandi, thereby ordered interim maintenance of Rs. 3000/- each to the petitioners by the respondent. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The respondent herein married the 2nd petitioner on 29.08.2018 as per Hindu marriage rites, and out of their wedlock, a female child, who is the 1st petitioner herein, was born. Due to misunderstanding, they started living separately. Thereafter, the petitioners filed a maintenance case before the trial Court in M.C.No. 01/2024. Pending the said maintenance case, the petitioners also filed a petition for interim maintenance in Crl.M.P.No. 778 of 2024, wherein the trial Court, namely the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Vikravandi, by order dated 24.09.2024, directed the respondent to pay a sum of Rs.3,000/- each to the petitioners towards interim maintenance.

A perusal of the records reveals that the respondent is employed as a Conductor in the Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Chennai, and apart from the said employment, he has no other source of income. The trial Court had rightly taken this aspect into consideration and ordered interim maintenance of Rs.3,000/- each to the petitioners. This Court finds no illegality or infirmity in the order passed by the trial Court.

5. Accordingly, the present revision petition challenging the order passed in Crl.M.P.No. 778 of 2024 in M.C.No. 1 of 2024 dated 24.09.2024 stands dismissed.
