Petition seeking bail in respect of Crime No.7 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 324(4) and 351(3) of BNS r/w Section 25(1-A) of Arms Act, is on board for consideration.
2. The incarceration of the petitioner being from 06.01.2025 pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner and false implication in the case, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. 3. The case of the prosecution as putforth by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposing for grant of bail, is that when the de facto complainant, who is running a hotel at Kolidam Railway Gate, refused to give money as demanded by the accused, the accused had abused him in filthy language, threatened him and damaged the articles in his hotel worth about Rs.800/-. He further submits that the case is under investigation and further, ten previous cases are pending against the petitioner.
4. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record and considering the antecedents of the petitioner and that he was arrested very recently, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
