O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to forthwith give electricity service connection to the petitioner's house situated at 419/25, Sarcar Puravipalayam, Sarcar Puravipalayam Post, Vadakkipalayam Panchayat, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore, based on his application dated 28.12.2017 without insisting for the No Objection Certificate from the revenue authorities.

2. The claim of the petitioner is that the property, in which, the petitioner resides is a natham and therefore, there is no necessity for getting such No Objection Certificate. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the respondent as no order is passed by the respondent so far in the application. Thus, the Writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
