ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint dated 18.01.2022 given to the respondent Police as one to be investigated under Section 67 of the Information Technology Act and investigate the same.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the complaint is with regard to posting of some venom of words and obscene materials through social media which needs to be investigated and the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police, however, no action has been taken. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that in this case, the petitioner has lodged a complaint, and CSR.No.47 of 2022 assigned dated 12.01.2022, but no action has been taken and enquiry to be completed within a period of four weeks.

4. In view of the same, the respondent Police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
