Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to dispose of the representation dated 09.07.2020 made before the Jamabanthi for rectifying the error insofar as extent is concerned, which is wrongly mentioned as 0.56.0 hectares instead of correct extent of 1.05.0 hectares in Survey No.262/1B of Jadayampalayam Village, Mettupalayam Taluk, Coimbatore District after conducting survey of the land, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to dispose of the representation dated 09.07.2020 made before the Jamabanthi for rectifying the error insofar as extent is concerned, which is wrongly mentioned as 0.56.0 hectares instead of correct extent of 1.05.0 hectares in Survey No.262/1B, situated at Jadayampalayam Village, Mettupalayam Taluk, Coimbatore District after conducting survey of the land, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2020, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
