Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenue, namely, A.Kotteswari, D/o.P.Anandan, aged about 19 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] This petition has been filed by the petitioner / father of the detenue / A.Kotteswari, aged about 19 years, to cause production of his daughter, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The alleged detenue / A.Kotteswari is secured and produced before this Court by the respondent police. Her parents are also before us.

4. On enquiry, the detenue stated that she married the third respondent, namely, Anandan, who is also present before us and expressed her willingness to go along with him.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the third respondent is not of marriageable age since he is only 19 years of age.

6. Once the alleged detenue, who is a major has expressed her willingness to go along with her husband and there is no illegal detention, this petition is to be closed as nothing further remains to be considered herein.
