Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling upon the production of the records relating to the detention order dated 02.05.2018 made in detention order in Memo No.283/BCDFGISSSV/2018 under section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982 as a 'Goonda' passed by the second respondent herein, quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu Govindaraj S/o.Subramani, who is aged 25, who has been detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J] Petitioner is the mother of the detenu, Govindaraj S/o.Subramani, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in BCDFGISSSV No.283/2018 dated 02.05.2018. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the son of the petitioner in BCDFGISSSV No.283/2018 dated 02.05.2018 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.2477, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 13.06.2018 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
