Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to condone the delay of 288 days in filing the above Writ Appeal against order dated 08/03/2019 in WP No.16698/2012 (in MP No.5693 of 2020 IN WA(SR)No.143465 OF 201) Order :This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.MYTHRYE CHANDRU SPL.GOVT PLEADER(EDU), Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.S.N.RAVICHANDRAN Advocate on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

There is a delay of 288 days in filing the writ appeal.

2. Though the petitioners have explained the reasons for the delay, the same cannot be accepted in toto in the interests of justice. We are of the view that the delay can be condone on payment of cost.

3.Mr. S.N. Ravichandran, learned counsel appearing for the respondent vehemently argued that the petitioners have not explained the reasons in a proper manner.

4. As already stated, the delay of 288 days can be condoned on payment of cost of Rs. 1,000/-. Accordingly, the delay of 288 days in filing the writ appeal is condoned on condition the petitioners paying a sum of Rs.1,000/- to the Chief Justice Relief Fund within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of petitioners not paying the cost amount within the time stipulated, the petition shall stand dismissed automatically.
