Mr.R.Prathap Kumar, Addl.Public Prosecutor Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to grant parole or emergency leave to the detenu Muttaicose @ Subramani (CT No.21757) now life convict confined in Central Prison, Trichy in pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2017 for a period of 30 days without police escort.

(Order made by Dr.S.VIMALA, J.) Petitioner claims parole or emergency leave for the detenu Muttaicose @ Subramani (CT No.21757) life convict now confined in Central Prison, Trichy.

2. It is claimed that the petitioner has submitted a representtion dated 30.10.2017 seeking leave for 30 days without police escort. However, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there is no proof to show that such representation has been given.

3. Under the circumstances, we direct the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the authorities and on such representation being received from the petitioner, the respondents shall pass orders in accordance with law within a period of one week thereafter. With these observations, the H.C.P. is closed.
