PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 407 of Cr.P.C., praying to transfer the Special Sessions Case in Special S.C.No.12 of 2014 on the file of the I Addl. O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the Special Sessions Case in Special S.C.No.12 of 2014, on the file of the I Addl. District and Sessions Judge, (PCR) Thanjavur and to some other PCR Court and pass suitable orders.

2.It is seen that almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now, since numerous Presiding Officers were also changed to the concerned Court.

3.With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as devoid of merits.
