Common Prayer:- The Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records on the file of the 1st respondent in his proceedings nil and dated 13.03.2007 and quash the same as illegal, incompetent and without jurisdiction. COMMON ORDER Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
2. The petitioners, who are tenants under the first respondent have filed these Writ Petitions for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the proceedings of the first respondent dated 13.03.2007, thereby the petitioners were directed to vacate and hand over the premises within a period of three days.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 by producing a letter of the Assistant Divisional Engineer, National Highways, Virudhachalam would state that the petitioners have been evicted on 17.03.2007 and 18.03.2007 respectively by the Revenue Department.
