O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 13.01.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.J.Rajmohan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvannan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 21.10.2024. The petitioner made an application before the respondent on 13.01.2025 seeking for patta. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 13.01.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law 2/4

and final orders shall be passed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if there are any rival claims, notice shall be issued to them and they shall also be afforded with opportunity and thereafter, final orders shall be passed. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
