Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent-Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.298 of 2021 and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the respondent-Police fails to file the final report within the time fixed by this Court, the Superintendent of Police, Erode District is directed to appear before this Court.
