The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition to quash the transfer order passed by the second respondent, dated 09.01.2019 and consequently direct the respondents to permit him to work at the 3rd respondent office.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner is granted liberty to submit a fresh representation to the respondent authorities indicating the nearest branch, for which, learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection.

3. In view of the submissions so made by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition stands disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation to the respondent authorities within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such filing, the respondent authorities shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner within a period of two weeks, thereafter. No costs.
