Respondents Habeas corpus petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records in BCDFGISSSV No.634 of 2015 dated 29.7.2015, on the file of the first respondent, and to produce the body of the petitioner viz. Karthik, son of Thirunavukkarasu, aged about 23 years, now lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai 600 066 and quashing the same and setting the petitioner at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by M.JAICHANDREN, J.) The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents, had submitted that the detention order passed by the first respondent against the petitioner/detenu viz. Karthik, son of Thirunavukkarasu, in BCDFGISSSV No.634/2015, on 29.7.2015, has been revoked by the Government on the advice given by the Advisory Board, vide https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

G.O.Rt.No.5820, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 15.9.2015.

2.In view of the above, the habeas corpus petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
