(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners, who are arrayed as Accused Nos.1 and 2, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 506(i) of I.P.C., in C.S.R. No.1367 of 2019,on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that petition enquiry is pending against the petitioners in C.S.R. No.1367 of 2019.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, the respondent Police is directed to complete the enquiry, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioners, the respondent police shall register the First Information Report or close the petition enquiry.
