O R D E R

The writ of mandamus has been filed to forbear the 1st respondent from convening the 57th Quarterly meeting to be held on 19.6.2012 at 3.30 P.M. at the Central Office, Chennai without invitation to/participation of the petitioner's association by name "All India Indian Overseas Bank SC/ST Employees Welfare Association" 2.The relief as such sought in the writ petition lost its relevance in view of the fact that the petitioner seeks an order in the nature of injunction to forbear the 1st respondent from convening a meeting on 19.06.2012. That apart, the petitioner has filed the writ petition in his individual capacity by describing him as General Secretary of All India Indian Overseas Bank SC/ST Employees Welfare Association. 2/4

3.Therefore, the association has not filed the present writ petition and such individual writ petitions filed seeking relief to forbear the respondents from convening the meeting cannot be granted. More so, the meeting was conducted in the year 2012 and thus, now nothing survives. 4.Accordingly, writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
