The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.04.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 279 and 308 I.P.C. in Crime No.455 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the driver of the lorry bearing Registration No.RJ-09 GA 3486 and he has driven the lorry in a rash and negligent manner on the National Highways without following the traffic rules.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated as accused in the present case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that investigation is pending. He would further submit that no one sustained injury in the said occurrence.

kkd/kj 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that no one sustained injury in the said occurrence, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. 6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur, Thiruvallur District and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders.
