Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 2nd respondent herein in C.No.A3/14009/2006 dated 06.03.2007 and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to accept the petitioner's application for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police for the year 2006.

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of second respondent herein in C.No.A3/14009/2006 dated 06.03.2007 and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to accept the petitioner's application for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police for the year 2006.

2. It is represented by the learned Additional Government Pleader that during the pendency of the punishment period promotion list was called for in the direct recruitment and the petitioner has applied for in service. that time, his application was not considered and subsequently the examination was over and therefore this Writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
