PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first respondent herein to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1152 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent to the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvannamalai District and to file a final report.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to direct the first respondent herein to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1152 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent to the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvannamalai District and to file a final report.

2. Heard M/s.M.Rebecca, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents has submitted that the investigation is almost completed and so far, they have examined some persons and about to file a final report.

4. Under this circumstance, the change of investigation would affect the entire investigation in Crime No.1152 of 2019. However, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the second respondent and also ensure that the respondent is filing the final report within time stipulated by this Court.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
