ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction against the respondents to receive actual rent and conduct fair and revision proceedings in the manner known to law.

2. Mr.E.Ganesh, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner had already given a representation by expressing his objections for the proposed fair rent to be fixed by the respondent department to the demised premises.

3. Mr.K.Karthikeyan, the learned Government Advocate, submitted that the proceedings have been initiated and it has been culminated into an order dated 03.10.2023 and in which fair rent has been fixed. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order copy has not been served upon him.

4. It is up to the respondent to serve a copy of the order on the petitioner and on receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same by way of filing a statutory appeal within the time limit.
