PRAYER: Originally this petition has been filed as Original Application No.3586 of 2003 before the Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, petition has been transferred and numbered as W.P.No.12453 of 2007. Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents and his subordinate officials to consider the category of primary school Headmaster also along with the categories of B.Ed Grade Teachers/Tamil Pandits/Graduate Warden for promotion to the post of Middle School Headmaster. The Petitioner-Association has filed this Writ Petition to direct the respondents and his subordinate officials to consider the category of primary school Headmaster also along with the categories of B.Ed Grade Teachers/Tamil Pandits/Graduate Warden for promotion to the post of Middle School Headmaster. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader has stated that based on the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.7324 of 2009 dated 19.12.2009, the first respondent has passed proceedings in Na.KA.No.O1/22676/09 dated 22.02.2010 by considering the category of primary school Headmaster along with the categories of B.Ed Grade Teachers/Tamil Pandits/Graduate Warden for promotion to the post of Middle School Headmaster. Since the request of the petitioner was considered by the aforesaid proceedings, nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
