..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records connecte in Pro.No.A/1270/98, dated 14.05.99 of the 1st respondent in Lr.No.E1/4386/2000 dated 05.03.2001 of the 2nd respondent and Lr.No.A/2101/2001 dated 29.11.2002 of the 1st respondent and quash the same insofar as the applicant is concerned and direct the respondents to fix the applicant's pay in the revised scale of pay of Rs.5000-150-8000 at Rs.5300/- with effect from 01.01.1996 and grant annual increments as per Rules 6(1) of the TNRS of pay rules 1998.

Originally the petitioner herein has filed an Original Application in O.A. No 3612 of 2003 before the State Administrative Tribunal. Due to abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, this Original Application was transferred to this Court and converted as Writ Petition and renumbered as W.P. No 12459 of 2007.

2. No representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard Mr.A.Zakir Hussain, learned Government Advocate and perused the records.

3. Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced a letter dated 09.11.2020 and submitted that the entire arrear amount has been paid to the petitioner on 16.06.2004 itself and the petitioner has also encashed the same and gave a letter of undertaking dated 26.11.2004 that he will withdraw the writ petition.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
