This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai in M.P.No.236 of 2014 dated 07.10.2014.
2. The learned Magistrate, while granting bail, imposed the following conditions:
i) the petitioner should execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.5,000/- with two local sureties each for a likesum; and ii) the petitioner should appear and sign before the respondent police every day at 10.00 a.m for a period of one month.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that on completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed before the II Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.
4. Since the charge sheet has already been filed, I am of the opinion that the petitioner need not appear before the respondent police. However, the petitioner is directed to appear before the II Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai on all the hearing dates regularly.
