Originally the petitioner herein has filed an Original Application in O.A. No 3540 of 2003 before the State Administrative Tribunal. Due to abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, this Original Application was transferred to this Court and converted as Writ Petition and renumbered as W.P. No 12541 of 2007.

2. No representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader and perused the records.

3. Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced a letter dated 09.11.2020 sent by the District Education Officer, Vathalagundu and submitted that as per the seniority list, the petitioner was promoted as Assistant Elementary Education Officer in the year 2007 itself and the petitioner also undertakes that he will withdraw the writ petition, therefore nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader and the letter dated 09.11.2020 issued by the District Education Officer, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
