(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, in Crime No.21 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. However, today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Mohammed Hasain, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition.
