ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the 1 st respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 25.11.2024 before the 1 st respondent for issuing Permanent Account Number (PAN) to the petitioner.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner company was registered under the Companies Act, 2013 on 17.09.2014 itself and since the petitioner has not commenced their business, they have not

applied for the Permanent Account Number. Now, the petitioner is intended to commence the business. Therefore, they made a request to the 1 st respondent to issue them a Permanent Account Number by their representation dated 25.11.2024. Since the representation of the petitioner was not considered till date, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Dr.B.Ramaswamy, learned Senior Standing Counsel appearing for the st respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2024 will be disposed in accordance with law at the earlies point of time. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Senior Standing Counsel appearing for the 1 st respondent, this Court directs the 1 st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2024, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
