The prayer sought for in the writ petition is to call for records pertaining to the impugned order of the 2nd Respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.10541/Ni2/1/2000 dt. 19.02.2003 and quash the same and consequently directing the Respondents to revise the pay scale of the Petitioner on par with his juniors.

2. Originally the petitioner herein has filed an Original Application in O.A. No.2531 of 2003 before the State Administrative Tribunal. Due to abolition of State https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Administrative Tribunal, this Original Application was transferred to this Court and converted as Writ Petition and renumbered as W.P. No. 12624 of 2007.

3.When the matter came up for hearing on 12.10.2020, there was no representation for the petitioner, therefore, the Additional Government Pleader was directed to get instructions with regard to the correct position of the case.

4. Today also none represented on behalf of the petitioner. The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the petitioner died on 14.06.2006 itself and no application has been filed by the legal heirs of the petitioner to proceed with the writ petition.

5. In view of the fact that the petitioner had died as early in the year 2006 and no steps have been taken by the legal heirs of the petitioner for the past 14 years to proceed with the writ petition, the writ petition is dismissed as abated.
