Prayer: Originally this petition has been filed as Original Application No.2567 of 2003 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, petition has been transferred and numbered as W.P.No.12625 of 2007. Petition filed praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent in relation to his proceedings issued in Na.Ka.No.14299/2001-1/A2 dated 26.05.2003 and the records relating to the proceedings of the second respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.T2/2758/2001, dated 27.09.2002 and the records relating to the proceedings of the third respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.T2/328/97, dated 23.03.1998
respectively and quash the same and consequently direct the first to third respondents from promoting the applicant as Assistant in the Zonal Office of the Assistant Director of Town Panchayat, Sivangangai, with effect from 31.03.1997 with all attendant benefits.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to call for the records of the first to third respondents in relation to their proceedings issued in Na.Ka.No.14299/2001-1/A2 dated 26.05.2003, Na.Ka.No.T2/2758/2001, dated 27.09.2002, Na.Ka.No.T2/328/97, dated 23.03.1996 and quash the same and issue a consequential direction to the respondents to promote the applicant as Assistant in the Zonal Office of the Assistant Director of Town Panchayat, Sivangangai, with effect from 31.03.1997.
2. The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the petitioner was died in the year 2012 itself and the legal heirs of the petitioner has not taken any steps so far to proceed the petition.
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
