ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 04.04.2018 made for regularization of her house site property measuring an extent of 30 1⁄2 cents in Survey No.77/1B (Part) in Gowrivakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, (Previously Saidapet), Chengalpattu Distruct purchased under a Sale Deed dated 29.03.1993 vide Document No.1556 of 1993, registered at the office of SRO, Tambaram under the category of "innocent buyer" within a time frame as may fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner has made an application on 04.04.2018 for regularization of a house site property measuring an extent of 30 1⁄2 cents in Survey No.77/1B (part) in Gowrivakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk 2/6
(previously Saidapet), Chengalpattu District, which the petitioner has purchased through a valid sale deed dated 29.03.1993 vide document No.1556 of 1993 on the file of SRO Tambaram under the category of "innocent purchaser".
3. In order to consider the said application and to decide the same, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
4. Heard Mr.R.Veeramani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and decided within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
6. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein and having regard to the said submission made by the learned Government 3/6
Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 04.04.2018 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
