The petitioner seeking remission period of 18 months as per G.O. Ms. No. 1163/1997 and in this regard he had given a representation dated 23.01.2017 to the 2nd respondent herein.
2. The petitioner's request to add the remission period has to be decided by the 2nd respondent who is the competent authority. Hence, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2017 on its own merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
