Respondents PRAYER : Originally this petition has been filed as Original Application No.3725 of 2003 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, petition has been transferred and numbered as W.P.No.12663 of 2007.

Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the Second Respondent in Na.Ka.No.441/A2/03 dated 06.10.2003 and quash the same and direct the respondents to allow the enhanced monthly honorarium of Rs.400/- to the petitioner for the period of her work as Community Nutrition Helper at Santhi Nagar-1, Palayamkottai Block under the Tamil Nadu Integrated Nutrition Project (TINP) from 1-1-1996 to 2804-1999 and pay her the arrears. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order of the second respondent dated 06.10.2003 in Na.Ka.No.441/A2/03, quash the same and direct the respondents to allow the enhanced monthly honorarium of Rs.400/- to the petitioner for the period of her work as Community Nutrition Helper under the Tamil Nadu Integrated Nutrition Project (TINP) from 1-1-1996 to 28-04-1999 and pay her the arrears.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Even on earlier occasions, there was no representation for the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that as per G.O.(Status) No.135, Department of Social Welfare and Nutrition (Sa.Na-7), dated 17.06.2005, the Helpers in Noon Meal Centres are entitled for the honorarium of Rs.295/- at the time of their joining and after completion of 10 years of service, they will be promoted as Assistant with an honorarium of Rs.780/-. A copy of the said G.O. and sanction order of honorarium of Rs.780/- to the petitioner by the second respondent are produced before this Court.

In view of the above Government Order dated 17.06.2005 and Sanction Order dated 29.10.2020, the petitioner is entitled for the honorarium to be paid by the respondents and the respondents are directed to give honorarium to the petitioner. In the result, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
