Though this court granted sufficient time to the respondents to file counter-affidavit, no counter-affidavit is filed as on date. In view of the same, and also for the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and also considering the fact that the failure to challenge the proceedings dated 14.05.2012 is only a technical error, though sufficient pleadings have been made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, this court is inclined to permit the amendment of the prayer as sought in this application.

2. Accordingly, this application is ordered and the prayer in the main writ petition shall stand amended in terms of the prayer made in this application.

3. Registry is directed to carryout necessary amendments and list W.P.No.20343 of 2012 on 05.02.2025.
