J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The learned counsel for the respondent Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Chennai) Ltd., today handed over two cheques (amounting to Rs.1,99,197/- vide Cheque No.053299 dated 12.03.2024 and Rs.3,56,030/-

vide Cheque No.327622 dated 12.03.2024) and also has stated that the Pension Payment Order No.A14820 has been issued. The pension will be credited in the account of the individual on 05.04.2024 and arrear amount sanction also will be done at the earliest possible. In view of the written letter given by the Corporation, we direct the Corporation to comply with their undertaking, without causing any further delay. If any error in the calculation, the contempt petitioner / workmen is at liberty to submit his representation before the authorities for rectifying the same.
