Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the proceedings of the District Elementary Educational Officer in Na.Ka.No.3720/ Aa5/2006 dated 28.03.2007 and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to conduct an exhaustive enquiry and investigation about the genuinity of the migration certificates
issued in Kancheepuram District specifically for the purpose of getting appointment as Secondary Grade Teachers and to remove the bogus candidates from the list and further direct the respondents 6 and 7 to fill up the available vacancies of secondary grade teachers with the native candidates of Kancheepuram District until the investigation is complete. This Writ Petition has been filed calling for the proceedings of the District Elementary Educational Officer in Na.Ka.No.3720/Aa5/2006 dated 28.03.2007 and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to conduct an exhaustive enquiry and investigation about the genuinity of the migration certificates issued in Kancheepuram District specifically for the purpose of getting appointment as Secondary Grade Teachers and to remove the bogus candidates from the list and further direct the respondents 6 and 7 to fill up the available vacancies of secondary grade teachers with the native candidates of Kancheepuram District until the investigation is complete.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous as nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further.
3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
