PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act 1960 as amended by Act 23 of 1973 And Act 1 of 1980 to set aside the judgment and decree dated 14.12.2020 in R.C.A.No.6 of 2019 on the file of the Subordinate Court cum Rent Control Appellate Authority at Ponneri confirming the eviction order dated 07.09.2019 passed in R.C.O.P.No.18 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Thiruvottiyur.

O R D E R

In an earlier occasion, the Rent Control Appellate Authority/ learned Principal Sub Judge, Ponneri directed the petitioner herein to hand over the possession of the petition mentioned property to the respondent herein within a period of two months.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner appeared before this Court and submitted that the petitioner has already handed over the vacant possession of the property to the respondent on 14.02.2021. Hence, this petition becomes infructuous.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 01.03.2021 Index:Yes/No Speaking order/Non Speaking order sbn
