Respondents (in all W.Ps) Common Prayer: These Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to issue the trade licence to run the electrical shop under the provision of Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act 1919, considering the application of the petitioner dated 09.02.2018 received by the 1st and 2nd respondents on 12.02.2018 and forebearing the respondents, their men, agents, servants, attorneys, representatives or any other persons from in any manner interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner at Door No.126,

2. Heard Ms.P.Bagyalakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, Mr.N.Sampath, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent and none appeared for the fourth respondent.
3. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the renewal of the petitioners trade licence were already rejected on 23.03.2018 and the rejection orders were served on the learned counsel for the petitioners.
4. In the light of the above facts, these writ petitions are closed. The respondents are directed to maintain status quo till 20.4.2018. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
