O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to alter the First Information Report in Cr.No.106 of 2021 on the file of the 3rd respondent police on the basis of the original complaint dated 29.07.2021.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor (Pondy) appearing for the respondents would submit that upon receipt of the complaint, the respondent police has registered the FIR for the offences under Sections 448, 323, 324, 427 IPC r/w Section 34 IPC as against the accused. Though there are discrepancies in the registered FIR, the investigation in Cr.No.106 of 2021 is pending on the file of the third respondent.

3. Heard both sides.

4. In view of the above submission, this Court finds that the third respondent had registered the FIR upon the complaint lodged by the petitioner, however failed to alter the same since there are ingredients to attract other offences. It is seen that the investigation is pending on the file of the third respondent heretofore. Therefore, during the course of

investigation, if any materials attract other offences, the third respondent is directed to add on those offences and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
