O R D E R

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.312 of 2014 on the file of the B-7 Police Station, Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore.

2. There is no representation for the petitioners. 3.The respondent has filed a counter in which, it has been stated that the parties had appeared before the mediation centre on 22.08.2014 and the dispute between the parties was amicably settled and that they have entered into a compromise https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

based on which, the further action has been dropped.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the parties have settled the dispute between them amicably based on which, the defacto complainant has withdrawn the complaint and that the respondent have filed final report stating that "Further Action Dropped" and thereby, nothing survives for adjudication.

5. In view of the above submission that the case has been closed as "Further Action Dropped, this court is inclined to close this petition.

6. This Criminal Original Petition stands closed accordingly.
