Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought the permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition for the reason that an appeal shall lie before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Villupuram District and has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the 3rd respondent by way of an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer in accordance with law. In the event of the petitioner filing an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, the Officer is directed to consider the same and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
