ORDER

This petition has been filed to issue a direction to the respondents herein to investigate the Crime No.1 of 2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and file final report within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the First Information Report came to be registered in Crime No.1 of 2021 on 04.05.2020 and thereafter, no action has been taken. Prior to it also, the complaint of the petitioner was pending for several months and after his repeated inquiry only the FIR came to be registered.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner lodged a complaint against one Venkatesan and Ramachandran and their Companies National Sewing Thread Co Ltd. and NST Mills Pvt.Ltd. The respondent Police is taking necessary steps and enquiry is in progress.

4. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent Police to investigate the case without delay. In any event, after completion of the investigation, final report will be filed preferably within a period of six months.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
