ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed calling for the records connected with proceedings issued in Proc.No.Ser 4(1)/ 21842/2001 dated 30.01.2002 by the second respondent and G.O.
(1D) No.646 Revenue (Service 6-2) Department dated 12.08.2003 by the 1st respondent and set aside the same and consequently to direct the respondents to include the name of the applicant in the year 2000 panel for the post of Assistant.
2. It is averred in the writ petition that the petitioner has filed the Original Application before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai. Subsequently, due to abolition of the Tribunal, this matter was transferred to this Court and renumbered as W.P.No.13572 of 2007.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that this writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the panel of Assistans for the year 2000 for promotion as Assistant on the ground that his junior was considered for promotion. In this case as contended in the Revenue Administration no one's name junior to the petitioner has been included in the panel of Assistants for the year 2000. The petitioner was promoted as Assistant in the year 2001. Further, he was promoted as Deputy Tahsildar in the year 2013 and Tahsildar in the year 2015 and now the petitioner is working as Godown Manager, TASMAC, Thiruvannamalai, in the cadre of Tahsildar. Hence, the petitioner is not entitled to claim for inclusion of his name in the panel for the year 2000. Therefore, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
4. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court finds that the petitioner is not entitled to get any relief sought for hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
