ORDER
The petitioners are apprehending arrest by the second respondent herein for the offences punishable under Sections 85 of BNS and Section 3 and 4 of D.P.A, 1961, in Crime No.119 of 2025, seeking interstate anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner/A1 and the defacto complainant got married in the year 2022 and after marriage she has delivered a female child. Hence the petitioners have demanded additional dowry. Even that too was also paid to the petitioners, but, again they have continued to harass the complainant mentally and physically and demanded further dowry to continue her matrimonial life, unable to bear the harassment and humiliation, she returned back to her native place and lodged a complaint before the Mahila UPS, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh and the case was also registered in Cr.No.119 of 2025.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are falsely implicated in this case and they have nothing to do with the alleged offence; that there were matrimonial differences between Page No.2 of 5
the first accused and the defacto complainant and seeks interstate anticipatory bail.
4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent. Today, there is no representation for the second respondent. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent has not seriously objected.
5. Considering the nature of the allegations, this Court is inclined to grant interim interstate anticipatory bail to the petitioners for a period of four weeks to enable the petitioners to approach the appropriate Court for appropriate remedy.
6. Accordingly, interim interstate anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioners for a period of four weeks, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambur, Tirupathur District, within a period of seven days from the date on which the order copy is made ready and the petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum of Page No.3 of 5
Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within two weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioners may approach the competent Court and seek appropriate relief.
7. The order granted by this Court shall remain in force for a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or until such time regular orders are passed by the appropriate Court, whichever is earlier. Failure on the part of the petitioners to comply with the order within the time frame fixed by this Court, the order shall stand, automatically, cancelled. 8.With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
