For Petitioner(s): Mr.K.Soundararajan For Respondent(s): Ms.J.R.Archana Government Advocate (Crl.side)
ORDER
The petitioner. who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 of IPC,
Sections 296(b) & 351(2) of BNS, in Crime No. 233 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners and others had received 34 sovereigns of gold and Rs.4,00,000/- cash from the sister of the defacto complainant to deliver the same to the defacto complainant. After receiving the same, the petitioners/A1 & A2 did not give to the defacto complainant. Despite several requests, the petitioners and A3 abused filthy language and threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences. Hence, the case.
3. Earlier, this Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petitions filed by the petitioner in Crl.OP.Nos.25021 & 30320 of 2025 by orders dated 18.09.2025 & 07.11.2025 on the ground that the defacto complainant had stated that she was cheated by the petitioner and the majority of the allegations were only against the petitioner. Considering that there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to reconsider the earlier order.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 28-01-2026 drl
