PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to extend the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.216, Finance (PC) Department dated 22.03.1993 and in the light of the orders of the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.P.No.8747 of 1/4
2009, dated 14.07.2009 confirmed by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in C.C.No.2746/2010 dated 23.04.2010 to the petitioners and accordingly award Selection / Special Grade Scale of Pay with effect from 01.06.1988 with all consequential benefits immediately.

This writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to extend the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.216, Finance (PC) Department dated 22.03.1993 and in the light of the orders of the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.P.No.8747 of 2009, dated 14.07.2009 confirmed by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in C.C.No.2746/2010 dated 23.04.2010 to the petitioners and accordingly award Selection / Special Grade Scale of Pay with effect from 01.06.1988 with all consequential benefits
2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.
3. The learned Government Pleader submits that the Government has passed G.O.Ms.No.90 dated 09.05.2018 for 2/4
implementing G.O.Ms.No.216 dated 22.03.1993 on the basis of the orders passed by this Court. The learned Government Pleader therefore submits that a direction may be issued to the respondents to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 16.04.2015 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.90 dated 09.05.2018.
4. In light of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 16.04.2015 favorably in the light of G.O.Ms.No.90 dated 09.05.2018 within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No Costs.
