Originally the petitioner herein has filed an Original Application in O.A. No 2005 of 2003 before the State Administrative Tribunal. Due to abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, this Original Application was transferred to this Court and converted as Writ Petition and renumbered as W.P. No 13644 of 2007.
2. Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader has produced a letter in Na.Ka.No.5980/A1/2020,dated 14.10.2020 sent by the Principle Education Officer, Tiruchirappalli and submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition has been given by the respondent in the year 2007 itself. He would further submit that the petitioner has also sent a letter dated 14.10.2020 to this effect, therefore nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.
3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader and the letter dated 14.10.2020 , the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
