Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the subordinates officers namely respondents 5 and 6 to draw and disburse the monthly salary due to the petitioner for having served as Assistant Engineer in the respective Municipalities, based on the representation made by the petitioner dated 09.10.2025 and 15.10.2025 and continue to pay the monthly salary in the sixth respondent Municipality.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the subordinate Officers namely respondents 5 and 6 to draw and disburse the monthly salary due to the petitioner for having served as Assistant Engineer in the respective Municipalities, based on the representation made by the petitioner dated 09.10.2025 and 15.10.2025 and continue to pay the monthly salary in the sixth respondent Municipality.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made representations dated 09.10.2025 and 15.10.2025 to the respondents seeking to draw and disburse the monthly salary due to the petitioner, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 09.10.2025 and 15.10.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame. 3.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 09.10.2025 and 15.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
